We use a secure client portal called Communicate to send you messages, share documents, and collect anything we need from you — instead of ordinary email. If we're already working together, this is where that happens.

Go to communicate.smokeball.com, or use the button above.
First time logging in? Look for an invitation from our office by email or text, and use whichever one it was sent to.
Enter the one-time code that gets sent to your email or phone to verify it's you. You'll use this same quick verification step each time you log back in.
Once you're in, you'll see any messages or files we've sent, and you can reply, upload documents, or fill out anything we've asked for.

Does it cost anything?
No. The portal and the app are free for our clients to use.
Is it actually more secure than email?
Yes — it's built specifically for sharing legal documents and messages, which is why we ask clients to use it for anything sensitive instead of a regular inbox.
